Is there an online course, such as videos, text-based lessons, and quizzes?

Hopex: Yes – Most of our functional and technical trainings are available online.
Horizzon: Yes – all courses are available online except TOGAF and ArchiMate (exam not included).
Alfabet: Yes – all available courses are online.

Hopex Yes – all functional trainings can be delivered, at client facilities, or via video conferencing tools.
Horizzon: Yes – Trainer-led sessions for TOGAF, ArchiMate, and BPMN can be delivered at client facilities.
Alfabet: Yes – Trainer-led training is available for Integration and Workflow Configuration.

Do I need an account to access my courses?

Some courses are free and can be browsed without an account.
Check the “free courses Tab” here: Bizzdesign University

However, if you are enrolled in a paid course, you must log in to your account to access your course content.

You can return to the dashboard by clicking the Bizzdesign University logo in the top-left corner of the screen.
Alternatively, open the Menu in the top-right corner and select My Dashboard.

The Course Overview section is always visible on the University homepage.
Courses are organized into five tabs:
1. My courses – All courses you are actively enrolled in.
2. Free courses – All courses freely available for everyone.
3. Alfabet courses – Courses related to a Alfabet product.
4. Hopex courses – Courses related to a Hopex product.
5. Online courses– All online courses offered by Bizzdesign.
Courses you are not yet enrolled in can be accessed by entering an Access Key or by purchasing them.

• Open the menu in the top-right corner and go to My profile.
For ArchiMate, Enterprise Studio, Horizzon, and Alfabet training:
Open the menu in the top-right corner, go to My profile, select Password, and then click Reset password.
• For Hopex training:
Click “Need help logging in?” and then select “Forgotten password?” on the login page.

Horizzon has its own dedicated Resource Center, where you can find answers to most questions.
You can also explore the free Horizzon tutorials or visit the official Horizzon support pages for more help.

In the ‘Course Overview’ section go to the ‘eLearning’ tab. Click on the ‘Enroll’ button of the concerning online course. You will be directed to the enrollment page. Here you can select an enrollment method. Choose the option: ‘I have an access key’. A field will appear for you to enter the Access key.
 Click on ‘Submit’. You will now be taken directly to the course page.

Yes, for online courses the activity completion status-bar will show at the top of your course.

ArchiMate, BPMN, Enterprise Studio and Alfabet courses: the Course Overview section is always on the landing page / homepage. The first tab called ‘My courses’ shows all courses that you are actively enrolled in, both online or trainer-led. Courses that you are enrolled in will have a blue ‘Start’ button. And those that you already started a blue ‘Continue’ button.

Hopex: Read the connection procedure iSpring Single Sign-On (SSO) use & registration and follow the link: https://mega.ispringlearn.eu/ The list of the courses you are enrolled in are displayed in the “My courses” section, in the top-horizontal menu.

Where do I get support for the Horizzon Environment?

The Horizzon Environment has a separate Resource Center where you can find the answers to most of the questions. Be sure to check out the free Horizzon tutorials or visit the support pages on Horizzon

For Hopex: the eLearning Knowledge Base provides information such as technical prerequisites (V5), language settings, certifications. It is accessible from the horizontal menu at the top of the home page. If you or your employer has obtained a license, you can log in to your own production environment.
 For training purposes, we do provide access to a practice Hoirzzon SaaS environment upon request.

Hopex paid courses include a Hopex Environment for exercises. The ID is provided in the exercise instructions. The link to the Hopex environment and password are provided by email.

Alfabet courses are not provided with Alfabet Environments.

Horizzon: only if your company has activated SSO can you use it to access the Bizzdesign Horizzon Environment.
Hopex: no SSO. to log in to your Hopex environment, you have to use the ID provided in the course exercise instructions and the password sent by email.

How do I get my certificate?

Horizzon and Alfabet offer a certificate of completion for all training courses. Once you have successfully completed the Online course or attended the trainer-led course you can download the certificate of completion.
So you know, some of the courses require you to pass the exam with a specific score before you can receive a certificate.

All Hopex courses lead to a Practitioner certificate. After passing the exam, the certificate is sent by email and can be shared on Linkedin.

Additionally you can get certified by The Open Group® for ArchiMate® and TOGAF® when you have successfully passed the exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels.

In order to get ArchiMate® certified you must complete an accredited course, either trainer-led or online. Once you have taken the course and studied the materials you can request your examination voucher from the Project office. Upon receiving the examination voucher please go to

In order to get TOGAF® certified you must complete an accredited course. Once you have taken the course and studied the materials you can request your examination voucher from the Project office. Upon receiving the examination voucher please go to https://certification.opengroup.org/take-exam and follow the steps. For more details visit: https://www.opengroup.org/certifications/togaf

We no longer offer the examination training course for OCEB2. Please visit https://www.omg.org/oceb-2/ for more details on the exam materials. Go to https://home.pearsonvue.com/omg/onvue to buy and schedule your exam via the Object Management Group (OMG).

You have 12 months to schedule and take the exam after you have received the examination voucher.

Horizzon courses: when you fail the certification exam you get 1 free retake. Please email the Project office and it must include your score report that you have received from The Open Group®, proving your first attempt, in order for your retake to be granted.
Hopex courses: deliver a certificate based on a 25 questions quiz. You can retake the quiz 3 times.

You can either make an appointment at a Pearson Vue test center or take it online. When you schedule your exam you will be presented with the option to choose. For more details please visit https://www.opengroup.org/certifications/faqs

How do I get support during an online course?

Generally the articles from the support pages will help you through all of the materials step-by-step. However, if you experience (technical) difficulties during the online course that you cannot resolve, please contact us for assistance.

For paid courses related to Horizzon, Archimate, BPMN,or Togaf : You need to create a Bizzdesign University account.

Hopex: you need to create an account to login to your Hopex course – you must use the login provided in the course exercise instructions to log in to your Hopex Environment.
